Our brother Dr Dan took a tumble tonight on his Lambretta Riverside. A Ford minivan made a left turn in front of him as he was traveling north on Willamette Street, heading to our meet up. He injured his shoulder and was a little shaken, but should heal up in time. He'll feel some pain over the next few weeks. His Riverside looks OK, but his steering column and frame are likely tweaked. His spare carrier was smashed. The van needed a tow from the scene. I think I could have rode his Lambretta back to his house, but to be safe we trucked it. We'll score this one Lambretta 1, Ford 0.
Think good thoughts for Dan and hope for a quick recovery.
Thanks, everyone! Emerging from the acute pain phase of this thing and am starting to think clearly again. Need to figure out how to get an estimate on the damage to this bike. Maybe Patrick can help.
Heal quickly. You should get the best of care at Riverbend
