Hey everyone! So I acquired a white P200 that I've had my eye on for at least 8 years. Patience and perseverance payed off. It hasn't been on the road since 1990, and has 4,600 miles on it. I did open the gas lid and got pretty high off the turpentine smell wafting out...

I'll post up pics of what I do to it to get it running on a different thread. I just wanted to share with y'all! I'm stoked to get this baby back on the road.😃
NIce, straight looking P!
Sounds like a healthy P!
It's Alive! Chris came over on Labor Day. All we did was change the gear oil, the old oil looked fantastic. Swapped the gummy carb with a fresh 24/24 I had on the shelf, rig up a makeshift tank, and she fired right up! Then with a couple more mods involving duct tape and a syringe, we took it for a spin!
We were both shocked and stoked that it started right up, after over 31 years of sitting. We took turns driving it up and down the gravel road outside my house, then graduated to the main road outside. It's still got a ways to go to be safe on the road, but hey, the engine is running! Wooohooo
Cool!
Appears in good shape, an enjoyable rescue
Thanks Geoff - the body is straight, It rolls straight, and has been in the back of a vintage race car barn for the last 30 years. He aired up the tires and was wiping it down when I pulled up. He just wants to see it roll again. When I get it back on the road, I'll go by his house and show him.
Nice score, hard to be a little more fair on the price but karma points count somewhere.
